The tool was built based on my experience working at various businesses seeing a lot of manual work they did that could be automated. I did end up automating it, but every time it was all hardcoded.
Hence I've built Automations.io, a generic automation platform that's powerful enough for developers to leverage it, as well as business users to manage it day-to-day and make changes without writing code.
