Product for building Browser Extensions without code?

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about building a product or library around browser extensions. It’s something I’ve found myself in the position of having to build often. I’d love to hear some input from others about some questions that I have.

Have you ever needed a browser extension, but didn’t have the expertise to build it?

How do browser extensions fit into your workflow?

Do you or your company use/build them often? If not, is there a specific reason?

What frustrations do you have when building or using browser extensions? If so, How are you solving those problems now?
