Question - are there fellow indie hackers having success with affiliates?

There are plenty of affiliate platforms, but how effectively find people who're interested in spreading the word about your product? Is there any platform, where you can search for them by niche?

One way, is to reach out to your existing customers. Of course you can add link, or some popup on your website and offer your visitors to become affiliates. Another approach is to reach out to (micro)influencers in your niche and offer them to become your affiliate.

All these methods could work, but usually you can expect just a few guys onboarding, and only few sales.
