Quick update from building PriceForge πŸš€

I just shipped one of the features I'm most excited about: AI Impact Analysis - and it's solving a problem I kept hearing from early testers.

The Problem:

Most competitor monitoring tools tell you WHAT changed ("Competitor X updated their pricing page"), but they don't tell you WHY IT MATTERS to your business.

Sales and product teams would get alerts like "47 DOM elements changed" or "pricing page updated" - then they'd have to manually figure out:

- Is this actually important?

- Does this affect our positioning?

- Should we update our battlecards?

- Do we need to adjust our pricing strategy?

The Solution:

PriceForge now automatically generates strategic impact analysis for every competitor change.

Here's what it does:

1. Detects the change - e.g., "Upvoty removed unlimited boards/users from POWER and SUPER tiers"

2. Analyzes the business signal - "This suggests a shift toward upselling customers when they exceed usage levels, likely due to cost management"

3. Impact on YOUR business - "Your unlimited model stays competitive. No action needed, but monitor if they introduce new limits"

4. Actionable recommendation - Update battlecard, adjust messaging, or maintain current strategy

Example from the screenshot:

When Upvoty changed their packaging, instead of just saying "3 things changed, 7 limit moves," PriceForge tells you:

"The removal of unlimited limits suggests they're reacting to usage costs. Your unlimited model stays competitive. The 'Start for Free' CTA shows customer acquisition via trials is still their priority."

Why this matters:

Product marketers and sales teams can now get a weekly digest that says "here's what competitors changed AND here's exactly what you should do about it" - instead of raw data dumps they have to manually interpret.

The goal: Turn competitor monitoring from a chore into strategic intelligence you can actually use.

Still early and refining the AI analysis quality, but this feels like the right direction. Would love feedback from anyone tracking competitors!

What do you look for when analyzing competitor moves? What signals matter most to you?
