    This is certainly something I do not hear a lot!

    Though I think one important metric to keep in mind is that you can do a bit of both.

    I'm currently developing an AI API that allows users to run AI models on the cloud. We've been boostrapping for a few months right now as students, and I think most people will need to bootstrap their product for a while and have good evidence of revenue before they pitch to VCs.

    We plan to expand much more in the future, so VC will be required then, but it's always good to have some growth first before asking for VC, and it might give you more options too.

    Thanks for the article! Thinking about VC for me seems daunting and stressful, so I'm mostly focusing on getting the MVP done at hand first, but the article certainly calmed some of my concerns.
