🎨 Reached 250 doodles and animations

We have just surpassed 250 amazing pieces of art on DrawPool.com

Ok, so perhaps not all of it is worthy of a place in your local museum, but we still think it's worth shouting about!

What is DrawPool?

If you haven't heard of DrawPool yet, you can use it to create:

✏️ Amazing pieces of #art
✏️ Thought provoking #doodles
✏️ Fantastic #pixelart

...or just brilliant Knock Knock animations!

That one cracks me up every time :)

Since last time

In last weeks update I (quietly) announced the release of the new feature - animations! Since then, I have spent some time tweaking the functionality and improving the UI for mobile devices. Boring right? What else... oh!

Rooms

No, you can't create your own room yet (that's coming), but you can now browse to more than just the General room. Here's a full list:

• General (r/general) - The default room
• Abstract
• Anime
• Comics
• Films
• Funny
• Games
• Music
• Portraits
• Television

They are looking pretty empty at the minute, so get other there and be one of the #first to post!

Notifications

Improvements have been made in this area. Most notably, users will now be notified on new comments on posts they have commented on. This can be disabled on a per-post basis.

In addition, users will now also receive an email daily if (and only if) they have new unread notifications. This can be turned of in the user's profile.

iOS/Android

Work on our mobile apps is still making good progress. You can check them out now with the following links:

We have a new update coming to mobile very soon, bringing with it the much anticipated release of the PixelArt editor.
