Brewwlab.com just reached 7K sales a month! If you aren't familiar with this project. Brewwlab is a place where you can hire a brainstorming team to brainstorm around your ideas/thoughts. In return, we give a new perspective on your input.
What we have learned from our journey?
Finding the right people for the right clients is key. A lot of our clients use our services multiple times and making sure they have a contact person is very important.
But there is a constant battle between quality and delivery speed. Some clients want to have their results fast others want super detailed results. We probably need to have a look at the plans we offer.
Warm greetings,
Joost form Brewwlab
I'm not sure if I should be congratulating you. But I want to be congratulating you!
I believe sales (also know as revenue) is not the most meaningful number that we should be sharing. Yet in Indie Hackers people are encouraged to share company revenue which is a vanity metric. Instead, why don't companies share profit? Or better yet, profit minus the equivalent cost of what the combined salaries, health and retirement benefits and associated taxes/admin fees would be for all people involved if they instead worked at a normal job? Because that would be the kind of meaningful number we need to measure whether entrepreneurship is a financial positive or negative for those people involved.
This is kinda weird and kinda brilliant! Your messaging is wide open and might benefit from more specificity - I assume it's mostly for startup businesses or companies launching new projects, right? But it also implies I could ask you for help redecorating my house or launching a social justice campaign or making a new key lime pie recipe.
But then again, you're clearly doing well, so maybe the breadth in possibility is a strength.
Having a talented creative research team on-demand for a reasonable price is a compelling offer. I've already got a project in mind. Bookmarking you for later :-)
Thanks hope to hear from you soon!πͺ
Awesome healthy number.
What was your main acquisition channel?
Is this $7k in profit?
What is your CAC?
Hi,
Thanks.
Our main acquisition channel is email marketing but we are testing Facebook ads & Google ads.
Might be doing an update on that later!
I'm focused on doing some email outreach. Do you mind if I ask a few questions via email?
Congrats, and at just 3 months old! Guessing you've got some great contacts that were used clammoring to use your product?
Congrats mate!
π
Congrats! Very nicely design and a great idea.
Thanks, buddy!
This is a great milestone. Congrats @Joosttt
I love that this exists. Congrats!
Great to hear thanks!
Congrats Joost
Congrats Joost π Sounds like you have a good problem of trying to figure out how to deliver more specific value to different customers.
I would think that naturally would lead to two different types of plans - one for quick turnaround limited-length feedback. And the other would be long form in-depth feedback that's less time sensitive. And clearly it would make sense to charge a premium for the latter.
Hi, Thanks for the tips!πͺ
Wow. Impressive idea! Did the customers implement your ideas or how much it affected the businesses whom you brainstormed with? I just want to know the impact :)
This is such a cool idea. Congrats on your success so far!
That's awesome, congrats!
How long have you been working on it?
