Quick update from a few months of building in public.
Reecova (the free Stripe revenue-leak scanner I shared here in April) is now approved and published on the Stripe App Marketplace as io.reecova.app.
For anyone who hasn't seen it: SaaS businesses quietly lose 5-9% of MRR to failed Stripe payments (expired cards, insufficient funds, bank declines). There are usually no alerts and no dollar total anywhere, so it goes unnoticed for months. Reecova detects those failures in real time and recovers the revenue with an adaptive retry engine and automated dunning.
What being on the Marketplace changes:
- You install straight from Stripe with read-only OAuth, no API keys to paste.
- Stripe reviewed the app and its permissions, so the trust bar is Stripe's, not just mine.
- The free 90-day scanner still needs no signup and no subscription: reecova.io/scanner
Where I'm at, honestly: solo founder, bootstrapped, pre-revenue, just cleared the Marketplace review. Now focused on getting it in front of SaaS teams leaking revenue without knowing it.
Two things I'd love feedback on:
- If you run on Stripe, would "install from the Stripe Marketplace" make you more likely to try it than a standalone OAuth connect?
- What would you want to see in a scan result to trust the number?
Happy to get into the Marketplace review process, the retry logic, or the business model. Building in public.
