Refreshing design: You like?

We are refreshing the design of content boxes, or as I call them, content islands.

Previous design:
Natural shadow. Thick bottom border to accent boundary.

New proposed design:
Thick, bold shadow combined with an all-round border.

Reason:
The current/previous design limits choices of background. The light background makes the island boundary fade, making things less readable.
