Haven't posted since June 3 - head down getting Pace, my Couch to 5K app, over the line. Quick catch-up:
Finished the build and submitted to the App Store.
Reworked the landing page for launch.
Got rejected. Reason: my screenshots mentioned pricing - the word "free" and a discounted founders offer. Turns out Apple treats "free" and any discount as pricing, and pricing isn't allowed in screenshots. Reworked all six, resubmitted.
Approved. Released the build today - quietly. It's live, but I'm not announcing until tomorrow night.
Spent the last few days on the unglamorous stuff: swapping landing-page links, $100 in Apple Search Ads, scheduling a thank you email to my beta testers, drafting launch posts, scheduling a Product Hunt launch.
Tomorrow evening is the real push. One-time purchase, no subscription, free core journey - built solo around a day job, by someone who's honestly still learning to run himself.
Equal parts excited and terrified.
For those who've launched: what's the one thing you wish you'd done before launch day that you only saw afterward? Trying to close blind spots while there's still time.
