Releasing > 20 Software This Month

I've been developing software on the side and between 2 jobs for many years (more than 20). A few years ago, I thought I had to choose either to stop or to go full time. I decided to go full time. At the time it was providing $0 MRR. Spoiler: it still is at $0 MRR.

So why go full time:

  • I like developing client side software, so it's fun for me
  • Most of the software I use it myself, so not a complete waste of time
  • I want to be proud of my work and not leave software half finished or full of bugs
  • I don't want to be at the end of my life and think "I wish I had tried"
  • It will probably look good on my resume
  • I have some savings and I don't have big expenses
  • It may work and provide a good MRR (my estimation are 5% chances)

So after many months of development, I think that they have reached the "proud to be released" state and decided to release one software a day. Some of them will have version 1.0-beta (>10), some 1.0 and some are major update.
