Hey guys, this is a product that I was working on for quite some time.

Preferral API: I simple POST API to implement a beta-invite system with referral incentive for your next project.

Back story

I was working on a lot of products before validating them. Meanwhile, I was noticing a lot of product launches with beta request forms. I observed that there are multiple pros to this approach

👉 it's easy to validate the demand before starting working on the product or at least invite a conversation around the problem I want to solve with that product.

👉 You can roll out the product incrementally to the users who have requested beta access.

👉 The users know its a beta so they are forgiving if there are any bugs

👉 The users provide real good feedback as they are also passionate about the solution the product is going for.

The Problem:

As a Frontend Developer, I wanted to be able to implement a simple form to my landing pages to get an invite list. So when the user submits their email, they can see what is their rank in the queue and a referral link that they can share to boost their rank. I wanted it to have a native feel that's why I didn't want to with Typeform, etc.
