We've recently updated our landing page and are now looking for feedback.

How do you think we could improve it further to increase our subscriber count?

    Cool newsletter! I suggest you:

    • Add more social proof. Maybe some testimonials or reviews?
    • Try out some images/illustrations from unsplash or ManyPixels.
    • More info/details about the newsletter? I think a short paragraph, company logos, and past issues isn't enough to bring in more subscribers.
    • Why is there a "show more" button? There is only like 2 or 3 issues so far so show them all

    Congrats on the new update of the landing page Ed.
    A couple of thoughts on it:

    • Your logo and hero image are too big in my opinion, they are basically screaming look at me first, so the content and your actual value proposition fade out in the background. Try also adding some left padding on the paragraph as now its missing some breathing room.

    • The following section with the parallax section looks interesting to the eye and works well for me.

    • See if you can add some additional content, maybe explaining a bit more (in bulletpoints f.ex) what to expect from this newsletter. Websites with low content (below 300 characters) also get penalized from google algorithms, so it would be good to work on it more.

      Thanks very much for your feedback! You've raised some fantastic points.

      I've not even considered how the size of the logo and the illustration could draw away from our value proposition. Was definitely way too focused on how nice they look.

      Additional content is something I thought about today actually. We could definitely use a bit more "meat on the bones".

    This is nice but I can't stand the undraw illustrations. There are so many awesome free ones that aren't as widely used. If you're catering to web devs who see these all the time they might feel the same.

    Overall, incredibly simple(a good thing). Your color selection is nice

          No worries. I think because Synk aimed at web developers, and because we've been called out on it more than once now, it makes sense to change it to something potentially better.
