ππ» Hey everyone!
I just launched my new subscription design and Webflow development subscription service targeted towards SaaS companies this week!
I designed out the landing page in a day and developed it the next. Would love your all's feedback on the site, if you think it does a good job of enticing you to continue to scroll, and if all the messaging is clear!
Thanks so much. So excited to see where this project goes.
The over the fold area is clear in a way that I get a good understanding what you are trying to sell here.
However, I immediately start to wonder two things: Who is Noah Shreve and what design awards has they won?
I like when smaller businesses take a more personal look by using their founder's name, but that needs to be supplemented with information about them, such as their picture and story. Right now, the landing page says Noah Shreve is a good designer and even won some awards, but there are no further information about either, so trust us bro.
Also, the main pitch has a grammar mistake, "Design subscriptions built to streamline your teams design process." should say "team's".
Without any context, the testimonials like 'βI am extremely impressed.β β Nick Mueller' seem suspect. With more context such as who is Nick Mueller and what did you do for him, these kinds of testimonials would add more credibility to your offer.
I don't visually like the horizontal scrolling effect, but if these are your portfolio items, I guess it makes sense. But as such, it should be clearly stated that you designed these, and it would be nice to know more information about this.
The first thing mentioned in the list of things you do is logo designs, yet, there is no logo on your website. That seems a bit ironic. Your website could use a logo.
There are some broken links, such as the your name link at the top left corner and some of the CTA buttons also don't work.
It would be a stronger pitch if you would explain why you only have 3 spots remaining. I assume it's because it's only you, a single dude who is doing all the design work. As such, explaining this more and telling your story would make your pitch that much stronger. As it sits now, the "only 3 spots remaining" sounds almost like those fake scarcity tactics some shady websites use.
Overall, I think this is a pretty good landing page. Visually, it gets a bit dull with the dark greens and the lack of more bright colors. The pitch should be made stronger by telling who are you exactly and why I should pay you $3500 per month for a design service when some dude in Fiverr can do similar things for a few bucks. I have a feeling your design quality would be better, but currently, the landing page doesn't really prove this to me strongly enough.
I appreciate your feedback!
I agree that I could have done a better job of either a.) branding less of myself/name or b.) including more info about who I am.
I went ahead and took a hybrid approach, using a logomark rather than my full name, but still including an About Me section that shares who I am, along with awards.
I'll continue to refine it using yours and others points as feedback. Thanks again!
With the About Me section, I think the landing page is already looking a lot stronger!
Love to hear it. Thanks!
