SaaS marketing and cold email vs calls.

I have a very nice B2B SaaS product. Average prices is about $7500 per month and we have a very specific customer base.

I'm thinking of doing more direct outreach... and sending emails now. Most are ignored. What's the best way to escalate to cold calls.

Should I just cold call directly? Should I try to find and get a direct introduction by a mutual contact?

It depends on what is your SaaS, your target users (do you have accces to their personal email ?) and your pricing.

In most cases it is better to send cold emails than cold call your prospects directly, because it is very intrusive and time consuming.

Emails allows you to have a soft approach and is less time consuming if you use the right tools. You really need a good email copy thought if you don't want to be ignored as we all receive a lot of emails.

Having an introduction is the best, but it is very time consuming. I would say it might be worth it if your ACV is close to 100k$.

Anyway, you should try all approches and measure what works best for you and what time it requires.

PS: Check out Datananas, we help automate follow-ups sent from your mailbox and you can mix automated cold emails with tasks and calls. We also have a free academy we just finished translating in English that might interest you : http://en.datananas.academy

I looked at your SaaS real quick. Are you targeting software developers ? If yes then do not cold call them :D
