I've launched a niche website (https://beat.yoga) targeting the keyword "yoga music," which has a low difficulty of 8 and a decent volume of 4.4K. The site offers curated yoga playlists with the tagline 'find the beat to your flow.' I'm now looking to scale and maximize this SEO opportunity.
I'm a yoga teacher who loves music, making this a perfect side project fit.
Initial target audience: yoga teachers (potential to expand to general relaxation seekers later). Also if you search for yoga music or yoga playlist, all the top links are Youtube and Spotify. There are no dedicated platform or tools, which I assume is why the keyword difficulty is low.
Here is what I've achieved so far.
Would descriptive URLs for playlists improve SEO?
How can I effectively build backlinks in the yoga niche?
Is building in public on X worthwhile, despite it not being where my target audience is?
How can I better reach yoga teachers online?
As laid out on the homepage, another feature I know would be of use to me as a yoga teacher is a yoga playlist maker. However, I don't want to start building it before having more sign-ups and validation for the website and idea. I've tried a few years ago to build it and it worked, but I was just an engineer at the time and had no clue about marketing and SEO, so it had 0 user. I want to do it right this time.
What features would make this more attractive to yoga teachers?
How can I differentiate from existing music platforms?
