Science based Reflective Journaling

Do you know that there is a science-based way of reflective journaling? It's not that there is the right way of journaling. But there are ways that make reflective journaling more or less effective for your mental health.

There is a lot of research on how reflective journaling helps cancer patients or people who have experienced traumatic events. In brief, it's about how you process events. But if you dig deeper with the help of text analytics, it's about the emotions you use, the verb tense and your thinking style.

For Human-Matter Labs, Tania and I looked at these studies to design helpful resources. We are offering an email-based master class which will be launched in a couple of weeks (Ideally before I'm leaving rainy Ireland for the perpetual summer in Spain).

For those who don't like email courses, want greater accountability, or want to change their workstyle now, we are offering weekly reflective journaling sessions.
