Seeded / faked content
I seeded / faked content on my MVP. There were like 100 fake profiles. Now that I have reached out to my friends, I have got 5 profiles :-)
Some of my friends and even my mother told he the seeded content confused her (random french/latin words).
The reason why I seeded content is I want to give my users a feel of what the web app is about. So my question to the community is:
Is it couterproductive to leave fake contents when you have at least 1 real content? or just leave it there until it gets overshadowed by real ones?

Not a big deal, people post fake reviews/testimonials by XYZ clients at the bottom of the site.
I think that fake content in MVP is not a bad practice. The main thing is that phony content did not cause the user to feel they were trying to deceive or fool him. Users don't like it. It would be best to try to make the content natural and valuable. If the content is useful, users can share it, thereby launching word of mouth.
