Hi,
Let me introduce to you my new side project: reThumbnail, an easiest tool that help YouTubers and video makers to design attention-grabbing thumbnails in less than 60 seconds with no design skills needed.
the MVP is under construction using React and this is the landing page -> http://rethumbnail.com/
Please share any useful feedback about the landing page or even the product
Thank you
Landing page looks very good on mobile. I'm not the target demographic since I barely visit YouTube let alone produce. It did seem a bit "busy" towards the bottom. I would almost keep the features (drag & drop, export, etc) in the same style as the points above (Save Time). But if you do that you'd need a way to distinguish "value" from "features" so people don't just scroll past.
You may also consider a carosell scrolling through screenshots of the editor highlighting various features. I.e. "Save time by easily exporting in multiple formats or straight to YouTube" with a screenshot of export options.
Hi @Lakeved_io
Thank you for your valuable feedback,
I was thinking of adding some sample thumbnails as carrousel between the two blocks, features and value to comfort the user when reading and also give him/her something real to see.
for the editor screenshots, I prefer to save them for a video explaining the product from creating the project to exporting the thumbnail.
What do you think?
I think that sounds great, you're definitely on the right track.
Seems pretty clear to me. I like the pitch.
If you could have a paragraph below explaining what you actually do that'd be handy - something like:
We take a screenshot from your video, add a title in the font of your choice and boom, you have a professional video thumbnail which will convert better (our tests show 50% better click through rate).
Do you provide images or just take a screengrab from the video? In a way high quality stock images (like unsplash) for different categories might be useful for people where their video is just a talking head or similar. I can't tell from your page if you do this or just do titling.
Design-wise I'm not clear why you have an organic sort of shape on the right (just for aesthetics). This is not too important though. Can you make a promo videos for how the service works on youtube? That might be a nice way to promote it.
Hi @kennygrant,
I think the headline is explaining the product clearly, there is no need for another paragraph, however, enhancing the landing page with a demo product video is a top priority. I'll definitely work on it once the MVP done.
Regarding the second point, I think I should mention that we provide also stock images from unsplash the features list.
Thank you for your valuable feedback
Perhaps a video would help explain how it all works without words, as you could show a demo of the service being used. I didn't for example know that you could use stock images from your page at present.
