What I'm Looking For

I'm best at marketing, sales, and strategy. Not because I got a Harvard MBA, but because I'm so obsessed with the problem space that I love doing those things. I've written every line of code out of necessity, but I don't love it. I need someone who does.

Specifically, I'm looking for someone who:

  • Can write high-quality fullstack code (current stack is React, TS, Node, GCP)
  • Can scale an engineering team
  • Has launched and scaled apps
  • Loves the productivity space (frameworks, calendaring, todo-ing, emails)

My Background

  • Fullstack dev with 12 years of experience
  • Obsessed with getting more done with less stress
  • Self-funding through contract React dev for startups (part-time)
  • Previously at a search engine startup and an enterprise cloud company
  • In Minneapolis, MN, USA
  • Loves reading, climbing πŸ“š πŸ§—

Please include your background info & any relevant links.

Here's how I imagine things going from here:

  • A few calls to see if we get along and want the same things
  • Work together on a project (doesn't have to be Compass)
  • Reference checks
  • Spend an extended period of time together in person
  • Make it official
  • Happily ever after πŸŒ”

On the fence?

Potentially interested, but not ready to reach out just yet? That's cool. In the meantime, subscribe to my insiders email list. I send bi-weekly updates to keep potential investors and partners in the loop.

**Fundraising model is fluid. I'm committed to bringing this product to the masses and making a good living from it, but that doesn't mean it has to become a unicorn. If we're both happy with the profits, we don't have to go all-in on VC. If we think VC is the most viable strategy, though, I'm down.

  1. 1

Hi Tyler, this looks very interesting. We are 2 co-founders that are looking for a dev - but dev/business helps a lot. We are working on Rezrva an appointment and scheduling saas for the LATAM market - your software looks nice and with some quite interesting features.
A little about us - we've been in business for over 1.5, we are about to hit break-even and have plenty of room to grow in a USD $336MM industry. We are a fully remote, US-based, LATAM-focused, 100% bootstrapped, ambitious, and goal-oriented start-up.
Let us know if this is something that sounds interesting and we can chat more.
    Cheers!
