Seeking U.S.-Based Tech Co-Founder/Dev Team for Social App

Finding allies, co-founders, or investors online feels harder than ever. We are trapped in endless text threads, dead messages, and stagnant profile grids. I’m building NextUs to fix this by bringing professional matching back into the physical world.

I am looking for a US-based Technical Co-Founder / Dev Team / GTM Partner who understands the startup ecosystem to help build our MVP and scale user acquisition.

💡 The Problem & The Origin

This project comes from my personal frustration with traditional social apps that treat networking like dating or casual scrolling. Current algorithms match people by vague, static preferences. Directory grids might show who is nearby, but none match by active, immediate intent or bridge the gap between digital discovery and physical meetups.

NextUs is a real-time networking and matching platform built specifically for founders, partners, networkers, and investors—really anyone looking for transactional or reciprocal professional connections. Instead of endless scrolling and swipes, the platform combines gap-based and intent-based matching with a live, localized map interface:

• AI-Driven Chemistry: Moves beyond generic tag-matching. The AI pairs users based on shared preferences, chemistry, interests, and—most importantly—the specific problems or resource gaps they are trying to solve.

• Dynamic Map Interface: Replaces the traditional, boring profile grid with a live, locational map. Users see real-time events, professional needs, active offers, or spontaneous meetups happening around them instantly.

• Privacy-First Architecture: Eliminates the "creep factor" of location sharing. Built-in check-in and check-out features give users total control over when and where they are visible.

🛠️ Technical Skills Needed (THE ASK)

Looking for a partner (or small team) with experience in:

• Mobile App Development (iOS/Android)

• Real-Time Location & Map APIs (Mapbox, Google Maps, geofencing)

• AI/ML Recommendation Systems (Contextual matching algorithms)

• Scalable Backend Development (Real-time data streaming, WebSockets)

• Privacy-Focused Product Design

Bonus: Prior experience building social, networking, event, or marketplace apps.
