It was my second online course. The first one made some money.
Why not do it again? I thought.
Then I procrastinated for a year, then finally I decided to film all the content while I was quarantined for covid protocol.
Then I "launched" the course. It was the familiar cricket that any content creator has experienced at some point.
Deep down I was just not excited about this second course. I didn't sell it to myself first.
So everything I do for it, I didn't put all my effort into it. Maybe it will be less emotionally impactful when it fails.
This is a reminder to my future self and maybe to you too:
Only do what fulfills you, it should put a smile on your face when you think about the outcome of your effort.
I agree, when I make videos I try to only pick topics which I'm interested in. Making content about something that I don't care about is not fun and I think the result ends up reflecting that.
