SEO, what's the way to GO.

When it comes to SEO, speed is quite important. SEO is s already a long-term project so you rather want to see results within 4 months instead of 8 months.

There's a couple of ways to increase your SEO efforts but my question here is about:

Hiring an SEO agency VS Hiring Freelancers

An agency can really drill down your website, content, technical analysis, press releases, high-quality content (1500+ words) etc. This is super helpful but it's not necessarily making you rank quickly. For that you need high output and tons of backlinks, quickly.

Now, I always wondered if it's beneficial to hire freelancers (for example from Upwork). Most freelancers can get you multiple backlinks per day (some sketchy, some good), and they can help you publish more content but likely also a bit less quality.

What do you think? Should you hire a freelancer additional to an agency to increase the speed of ranking for your keywords? Even if they sometimes make use of "questionable" methods (for example simply creating a Github account gives you a backlink too).

Dangerous practice or a no-brainer?
