Service or product? LLC or C-Corps

I do consulting work, and want to make it official and turn it into a company. Right now, nothing is "scalable" about it - it's work in work out. Ideally, though, I'd eventually I'd like to automate it and turn it into a product.
Should I make it an LLC or C-Corp?
