SES Template Manager

I just finished building this today: https://sestemplates.com/

Would love some feedback on the homepage. The idea is that is should look and feel like an AWS site e.g. https://aws.amazon.com/ses/

I'm not sure if it feels too close to the real thing to the point that it feels fake and scammy though.

I built this because I had a task at work and I was looking for exactly this tool, but couldn't find it. I ended up building a crappy version for the company internally, and figured someone else might have the same issue so did this in my spare time.

Thanks for your feedback in advance!

I'm not a lawyer, but it's not a good idea to have a site that looks like it might be impersonating another site. For example, by having the AWS logo and styling, someone could mistakenly try to sign in to your site with their Amazon credentials.

I would change your logo and styling ASAP. Don't even worry about coming up with a logo, just put the name of your site there for now.

Thanks for the advice, I've removed the AWS logo, will decide on the styling later :)

    Have you heard of:
    https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2020/10/amazon-ses-now-offers-list-and-subscription-management-capabilities/

I think there might be an opportunity to build a user-friendly software on top of it.

From first sight, it looked like you're doing something like this, but then seen that templates have been available for a while. I needed to google what 'aws templates' are and was quite surprised they exist.

Combine this with Amazon's new list capabilities and you have a new Sendy with 100x less code? Who knows.

Oooh, I never actually saw that - I'll take a look, thank you :)

I was looking for a similar product and came across yours. I'm annoyed by the fact that you use sms auth, it's just too personal to ask for phone numbers especially when it's not required to do business.

Are you allowed to use the AWS logo on your website?

I'm not really sure, I feel like the site needs a logo, without it it feels very empty

        Yeah YOUR logo, not AWS'
