I'm working on a project-sharing platform - https://joinhelm.com/ - where people can build a portfolio of their side projects (with or without code) and get feedback.
I'd love if you shared your side project(s) and took note of what could be better/what questions come to mind.
Your site looks ok and the value proposition seems clear. For me, it feels like "yet another social network", which Indie Hackers is already occupying. I have a hard time signing up for another place to share. I tried getmakerlog.com as well and fell off the wagon for the same reason.
Thanks for the feedback - really appreciate it! Totally get the social network problem. A lot of it is geared towards more building a portfolio of more casual side projects.
What kind of platform (in addition to IH) would you rather share to?
Oh! I just had an idea/thought. What about pulling in project updates from an RSS feed? So, any project/product could post their changelog as an RSS and the updates then feed into Helm?
It'd be great if @TeamIH did this as well!
Cool that you bring that up! I actually thought about implementing something like that but haven't figured out how to make it intuitive/not confusing. Would be a huge functionality addition though.
