Hey everyone!
I see many IH'ers here asking how to validate ideas for SaaS tools.I can share my experience and learnings validating features for Typogram, a logo design tool I've been building. We validated our product using no-code tools. I think this is the quickest way to validate product features.
In our app, users go through several steps to create their logo and brand design. They must accomplish a specific action to design their brands in each step. For example, one of these steps is identifying your brand personality. We created a mini workshop kit using no-code tools to validate this feature. We made the workshop kit's user flow very similar to our app. Users can follow the instructions inside the kit to identify their brand personality, similar to how they would do the same inside Typogram.
We then put this kit on Gumroad, and launched it to our newsletter, social media, and relevant communities to see if anyone would pay it. In the end, we got a couple of customers, which was enough of a quick validation for us for this app feature.
There are more ways to do validation, but if you are looking for ideas for validating a product feature, this was a quick and easy way.
