should I kill this project?

In July, while exploring my indie hacking options, I built a Shopify App to send messages to WhatsApp.

For now, 190 stores have installed the app; I have 4 five stars reviews even I don't do any customer support and didn't update the app for 2 months.

I'm not motivated to work on it anymore, and I'm not sure there is room for it to grow. I need to decide it, either kill the project, save myself the 7$/m (Heroku cost), or monetize it. At the same time, I doubt I can grow it to more than $200/m while there are other great alternatives available on the Shopify app store.

I need your advice...

Monetize it and use the $200 per month to help fund a new project. Imagine paying $200 in ads per month for your next project. It would help grow a lot faster!

      will try that. thanks @bibryam

You can only grind on something you don't like for so long. I'm currently learning that lesson as well. I guess it comes down to how badly you need the money. If you really want to get some revenue, getting to $200/m sounds amazing (from my perspective!), but if not, I'd reflect on the old adage, "life's too short". Best of luck!

Today I was going to kill this webapp project: https://ovpnconfig.com.br. It's a very specific VPN file generator, I get 1k access/month but for months I don't make a sale. This afternoon I received a sale notification on my e-mail that brought me some hope to continue, I sent an e-mail to my customer asking for a feedback. Did you try talking with your users to know if your extension really solve the problem?

    Good luck!

I actually didn't think of that.
I will send them an email and try to see if I will get some feedback

      thanks for the suggestion!
