Should I launch a new SaaS
I run a small saas company and for our internal requirements we use a simple tool for our sales process. It's very basic but it serves our purpose.
I've been thinking about launching it as a saas product for long, but have remained sceptical as it might distract us from the primary business.
What should I do? Has someone else been in such a situation?
Any suggestions would be helpful.
if it's a pain that solve other people, that could be worthy.
But think that if you are making a tool for everyone, you will have to provide support to buyers.
And support is taking time, so money...
I get it. I'm confused on should I work on it. But I strongly feel there could be a requirement.
Every product you release adds more works on your team. Don't even think a product launch like setup a server and make software up and running. You know this better. So think of added extra effort that is taken away from your team every month.
Next, Do you really want to enter already crowded CRM and Sales software marketplace ?
Is it worth the effort in long run ? Do you have a long term sustainable strategy for your Sales SaaS Software ?
