Hi, I was a bit confused about the headline at first. I thought it was a platform where you could share your programming knowledge and get paid.
Perhaps you should change the positioning to 'Simple paywall for your blog' or similar?

The reason I did that is I thought it might be a good idea to lead with a "benefit" rather than a feature. But I guess clarity is more important still.
I would love to see an internet where people are willing to pay for one-off content they encounter on the web. Currently the bulk of content payment seems to go to subscriptions (e.g. newsletters, NY Times, community memberships, etc.), which isn't a bad thing, but there's so much valuable one-off stuff that deserves some payment too.
The challenge is that content is abundant to the point of being a commodity. Especially developer content. I usually know that if I'm reading something and it's blocked, I can easily pop over to another website to find something equally informative or entertaining. So I'm unwilling to pay just to get through a wall.
I suppose this is why I end paying for subscriptions. In those cases, it's not really just the content itself I'm paying for, but my loyalty and trust in its author. Authors/brands are unique and thus can't be commoditized, so if they leave a strong enough impression and I want to stick with them in the long run, I'm willing to pay to do so because their unique perspective can't be replaced.

Why limit to only developers? This solution could be used for other websites no?
I like the OP's decision to focus on an initial niche. Constraints like this can make it easier to identify a target customer, and then make concrete decisions about where and how to reach them, what features to build for them, etc. And those decisions can help distinguish one from the competition,.,
Of course, the trouble is picking the correct niche to begin with.
It could be used anywhere, but you'd have to be a developer to implement it
FAQ padding/margin needs work. Curious, why would I use this over something like Medium Premium?
