I'm a solo, non-technical founder based in Wenzhou, China — a city that runs on exports: shoes, glasses, valves, electrical parts. Almost every factory and trading company around me sells online, and almost all of them hit the same wall when it comes to visuals.

To get one decent product image, or a 15-second product video for a listing, you currently need a pile of separate tools: one model for the image, another for the video, a background remover, a design tool to clean it up, and then somebody who knows how to use all of them. For a small seller that's the whole afternoon gone — or a freelancer they can't afford.

So I built Kansova: an AI image and video generation studio in one place. You describe the shot, or drop in a rough photo, and get back store-ready stills and short clips with a consistent look across a whole catalog. That consistency is the part sellers actually ask me for — nobody wants 40 product photos that look like they came from 40 different photographers.

I'm not a developer. I spent months learning just enough to ship this, and I'm sure I've made a dozen decisions that a real engineer would have caught in a week.

What I'd genuinely like to know from this community:

• For anyone who has sold to small businesses in a non-English market: what made your first paying customer finally trust you?
• Is "one tool for both image and video" the right positioning, or does it just read as unfocused?
