A few years ago, I found myself responding often to questions from new SEOs and new software users in a couple of Skype groups quite often. I decided to take the leap and created my own Skype group and accompanying Facebook group to mentor these people. I priced it at a simple $9.99 monthly price and within two months had almost 300 members! Although I've since raised the monthly to $20, I still get new signups every month (and occasionally lose someone).
I think this could work for most anyone, in any field. Whatever you know, there are people who would like to have that knowledge. You do not need to know everything, as long as you can help others learn what you do know.
Now, when I launch new courses or softwares, I have a ready market of people who trust me, know me, and like me.
What do you enjoy doing and know something about? Knitting? Python? Funeral planning? Podcast?
