One thing I noticed while building Vitmora is that people rarely remember expenses one at a time.
At the end of the day, it's usually something like:
"Coffee 180, Uber 280, lunch 350, petrol 220"
But most expense trackers still expect users to enter each expense separately.
So we shipped support for tracking multiple expenses in a single message or voice note.
Vitmora automatically understands, separates, categorizes, and tracks each expense.
The goal is simple:
Reduce the friction of expense tracking so people actually stick with it.
Would love feedback from fellow founders.
How do you currently track your expenses?

Smart move. Batching is the right instinct because the mental model people have at end of day is already a list, not individual line items, so you're matching the product to how memory actually works.
The thing I'd flag from a retention angle: reducing entry friction helps the people who already remembered to log. The quieter killer is forgetting to open the app at all.
Someone has a great week, logs nothing for four days, feels behind, and quietly churns.
So the batch feature solves the "this is tedious" drop-off, but the "I forgot" drop-off is a separate fight, usually won with a well-timed nudge rather than a faster input. Worth watching which of those two is actually costing you more, because they need different fixes.
To answer your question: spreadsheet, mostly out of stubbornness.
That's a great point. The batch feature solves the "this is tedious" problem, but not necessarily the "I forgot to log" problem.
We're seeing the same behavior — people don't think about expenses one transaction at a time, which is why we built multi-expense and voice-note tracking. But long-term retention definitely depends on making sure users don't have to remember the app itself.
We're experimenting with reminders and a few AI-driven approaches to make expense logging feel more natural rather than another task on the to-do list.
Also, respect for sticking with spreadsheets. What keeps you there today — flexibility, habit, or something else?
Like I said, stubbornness. Claude for Excel has been great so I haven't had any need to change
