Simple, privacy-friendly product analytics - looking for early testers

Hi all 👋

I'm working on a simple, privacy-friendly and open-source product analytics service. I'm calling it Fugu 🐡. I've just recently started developing it, but the core ideas are:

• Simple: Don't add too many features
• Privacy-friendly: No tracking of personal info like IP (therefore GDPR compliant)
• Open-source and self-hostable: The source code is open-source, and you can easily host it on your own for free. Only the managed version is paid.

Fugu is an alternative to services like Mixpanel and Posthog. Product analytics means it's an event-based tracking system (vs. view or page-based), ideal for web and mobile apps.

Planned features (for version 1.0)

• Analyze events by event name
• Segment events by custom properties
• Conversion funnel analysis
• Cohort analysis

I'm going to launch an early alpha version in 1-2 weeks, and I'm looking for volunteers who are ready to add it to their apps, start tracking and give me feedback. I promise to offer Fugu to all alpha testers for free for 1 year.
