So, I've been an indie-lurker for sometime now and I'm just now starting to break out of my shell and share more. I've been really overthinking potential markets, ideas, and just everything really. I came to the realization that my largest obstacle is I've been afraid to put myself out there. I noticed the people who have success have overcame this.
So I'm writing this to say, I did! I just direct messaged 2 people who are very interested in being my first customers. So I'm very excited and just wanted to share this milestone. I contacted them after seeing them post related content in another community so that made me feel a lot better about reaching out since I knew they were somewhat interested in the space.
Btw, I have no site or product finished yet haha. But I do have a product in mind that I've been working on. I'll share more once it's available. So my takeaway is, if you're afraid to reach out, try and find out if they like something similar to what you're offering. This will not always be possible so in that case I'd say, reach out anyway. The life you desire is on the other side of fear. At least that's what I tell myself haha.
