SourceSpy: rebooting...

My work on AnimationKit is suspended for now.

I'm working on a reboot of my 4 y/o project SourceSpy.com - an easy way to understand complex code. The goal is to create a simple visualization for files with complex source code (eg Java, build files, etc). As far as I can tell the need still exists.

Wish me luck!

Is there a VS Code plugin for the same? Also, I'd prefer if it accepts a GitHub url and explains the Java project to me in a nice diagram.

I'm looking to test the concepts on individual files before attacking the whole project! Would love your feedback when you get a chance. Thanks!

    1. How did you measure demand?
    2. Otherwise if you didn't, how did you know the task needs solution?
    3. is your proposition will be the solution of the problem? 3) Is solution possible at all, such as you imagine it?

      All good questions!!

      1. Measurement: really hard to quantify... still thinking about that.
      2. Does task need solution: yes from my personal experience, interviews with multiple potential customers and existence of funded competitors.
      3. Will I solve it: this one is kind of a gamble - I'll build a prototype, run it by users and see. Continue expanding if it works!!!

    Good luck.

How did you tell the need still exists, also any worries about AI taking over this space too?

      Thank you!
The more code humanity writes the bigger the need is to maintain it. I expect AI to make a dent but not that soon - 10-15 years. Still have time!

"SourceSpy: rebooting..." could be a message indicating that the SourceSpy software is restarting or reloading. This could happen for several reasons, such as a software update, a configuration change, or a system error. When the SourceSpy software reboots, it may go through a series of initialization steps to ensure that it is operating correctly and that all necessary components are loaded. Depending on the complexity of the software and the reason for the reboot, this process may take several seconds or minutes to complete. Once the reboot is complete, the SourceSpy software should be fully operational and ready to use.
