Hi,
Project: https://amicu.app/ - Reminders to keep in touch with the people in your life.
I was working on the website of a friend a lot today. I am having issues redirecting meetfriends.app to amicu.app because .app domains are HTTPS only the normal redirect via the DNS registrar doesn't seem to work.
Yesterday's progress:
- Listen to IH podcast while cycling / running
- Go through user feedback
- One call where I discussed ideas with people interested in the app
Today's progress:
- Inspire someone to check out IH and build a project
- Try to figure out DNS records for 301 redirects with HTTPS only .app domains
- Research and prioritize next possible features
- Talk to people
Tomorrow's progress:
- Talk to more people
- Decide on next steps
- Work on the product
Later:
- Ask for landing page feedback in PH
- Go through landing page issue backlog
Hey nice job. Can't you do a cname record in your dns zone for your redirection problem ? Did you already tried this ?

I'm not a DNS expert, but from my research you use CNAME for subdomains etc, but not to redirect to other domains without issues.
