Startups are hard. They are so hard and take so much commitment that they become the first thing you think about when you wake up, and the last thing when you go to sleep. You are constantly thiking about them.
Talking to friends, family, having a day off and every other time in between, you will be thinking on ways to get your startup closer to success, ways to improve and optimize it, features to add.
They get even harder. The more people on your team, the more things to deal with. Things go wrong. Features don't work as expected. People make mistakes. Someone gets sick. You get the idea..
But hey, I'd be lying if I'd say that I don't enjoy working on one. In fact, there is no other thing that I would rather do.
The challenges it throws are like little mind games that feel so statisfying once solved. The new UI improvement you do, the new content piece you write, the feeling you get when seeing your product getting shape.
But the most importantly, the feeling of being useful. That you are helping create something that will solve someone problems.
"The important thing is that men should have a purpose in life. It should be something useful, something good" - Dalai Lama
After months of struggle and joy, hard work and dedication from our team, Onegate is getting shape. We are planning to launch this January. Would love to hear your thoughts about it, and if you think it is a match for your business, consider joining our wait-list.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have. Thanks
OneGate looks great, congrats friend!
Thanks alot. Do you mind sharing what you like the most about Onegate. Or if you have any suggestions, please feel free to share with us.
Thanks
This is a very ambitious app. I’m amazed at all the features you built in. Seems like it’s advanced enough that it can already fill a need for a lot of businesses. What’s your plan for distribution (marketing, promotion, etc)?
Mostly content marketing. Writing content pieces for specific businesses and targeting them. After we launch the beta version, start experimenting with paid adds.
Any suggestions?
It’s a good plan. I would try to optimize these content pieces with specific keywords people look for on Google. That way you not only get clients in a short burst of traffic, but invest in your organic traffic long term.
Cold emailing is also something to try, nice post earlier today here https://www.indiehackers.com/post/94-opens-42-replies-how-i-used-cold-email-to-land-20-b2b-partnerships-in-3-months-with-my-exact-templates-e4505f9c89
Thanks alot.
