State of No-Code Data Sync (2022)
Over the past two years, I've spoken with countless no-coders, founders, and builders who are working at the edge of the no-code industry. These conversations and the process of building Whalesync have provided a unique view into the state of the no-code world.
I did my best to package some of these learnings into our State of No-Code Data Sync 2022 presentation, which I gave to the Webflow Minneapolis meetup last night. Hope others find it interesting!

whale sync seems super cool! what kinds of products/people/use-cases have you found most need 2-way data sync?

In terms of use cases, it's very dependent upon the tools people are trying to connect, but to share a few examples:

Yup, that's exactly it. Some of these tools have native integrations, but they are 1-way only. Zapier, of course, also supports these integrations 1-way, but you have to architect how you want the data to flow (which ends up being complicated/brittle).
When we started Whalesync, we were surprised this didn't exist already as well. Having built this over the last 18 months or so, we've found that 2-way sync is a really challenging technical problem. It likely explains why most companies have stayed away from it.
