State Of Website Builders 2020
Hey everyone,
So I recently put together some data on the state of the website builders market for 2020. I thought it'd be interesting to share here. Some insights:
• Wix and Squarespace have 55% of the market
• Carrd and Webflow are growing (fast!)
• Shopify's app ecosystem is bigger than all their competitors combined

I see. Yeah, Pageam is a few years behind a general-purpose website builder.
When does it become a website builder? :)
When it creates general-purpose websites— not single-purpose websites.
Squarespace is a website builder.
Format is a portfolio website builder.
Shopify is an ecommerce website builder.
Unbounce is a landing page website builder.
That's how I define it.

Really cool report. I too hope to get on that list. :) I'm building a completely free website builder, including custom domains and hosting. I was wondering, is there a way to get reviewed by you?
(Just to make sure you don't dismiss it as a weekend project: it runs on a purpose built OS to reduce the operating costs.)
To be honest there are too many website builders to cover— there's quite literally hundreds. Unfortunately I only cover the top 30 (as measured by websites powered).
