Stop building "Black Box" AI. We need more transparency.

Most AI tools are "Black Boxes"—you give an input, and it spits out a result. No explanation, no learning, just a result.

I think that's a mistake, especially in EdTech.

I’m building an AI Math Solver for macOS that refuses to just give the answer. I’ve been coding a "Logic First" engine that forces the AI to show its work, step-by-step.

The Strategy Shift:

Instead of focusing on the AI's speed, I’m focusing on its Pedagogy (the art of teaching).

• The Problem: Students use AI to cheat, and they learn nothing.

• My Solution: A macOS utility that acts as a co-pilot. It highlights the exact rule used in every step, making the logic transparent.

I’m struggling with reach lately, so I’m changing my approach. I’m moving away from just "building" to actually questioning how we use AI in education.

I’d love some brutal feedback: Is a "learning-first" math tool a viable SaaS, or are people just looking for the quick answer?
