Stop comparing yourself with other indie hackers. Here's why?

Indiehackers often compare themselves with other successful indiehackers and this comparison cannot be more wrong.

1. Some indiehackers do it full time

Many successful ones do not have a full-time job like you and have the entire day at their disposal.

10 hrs/day >>>> 2hrs/day

Your MRR is your (salary + your product's MRR).

2. Some have co-founders

You may be working alone every night on your niche product, but some have co-founders that bring in a complementary skill to the table.

While one writes code, the other writes a blog.

2 founders >>>> 1 founder

3. For some, it's not their first product

Ask any successful indie hacker out there and they will tell you it's not their first product. It takes a couple of failed products to create a successful one.

As they say "Failures are stepping stones to success".

4. Some have started it way earlier than you think

It's easy to assume that the indie hacker has started his journey recently because he is on your radar now.

The exponential growth that you see is a result of a very long flat growth period.

Give yourself time as well.

5. Some have built a great product

Truth be told, some products are way better than others.

It takes persistence and skill to build one.

Polish your app, validate again, spend more time marketing and learn a new skill :) You can do it too.
