Stripe From an Unsupported Country?
I've been a fan of Stripe for quite a while, but unfortunately my company is registered in a EU country which is not yet supported.
Is there an easy/hassle-free way to use accept payments with Stripe in my case? I know of Atlas, but it just seems like too much trouble (and money) to open up and support a company in the US.
Has anyone managed to figure out a workaround?
UPDATE: Maybe I should have specified my goal - to accept payments for side projects which are not guaranteed to make money (hence my money comment above). So even an alternative payment provider is an option, BUT it still needs to be friendly to developers and allow quick integration, webhooks, standard dev convenience stuff.
I had the same issue with Stripe unfortunately, so I ended up using PayPal.
You might be able to register a company in another EU country - I think Estonia has a program for e-Residency that allows you to open company there and operate it from anywhere, and Stripe seems to now work for Estonia. This would seem to be cheaper than US company and should be easier to manage. But you would need to research further to make sure this does work.

individuals are not companies
Thing is I live in the country my company is registered at :)
so register it else where? or move the company? having a solid payment processor might be worth it.
