I agree that it is overwhelming. Try breaking the big goals/list into smaller parts. It's much easier to make decisions on small things than it is on a loose big vision.

We all have different learning styles, but for me it’s helpful to find a small-scope project that scratches a real itch (even if it’s just a personal one that no one else will care about) and use that as a way to learn a new tool or set of tools. Don’t worry about incorporating every possible technology you might ever want to learn, just pick one or two to focus on at a time.

Then I pay attention to how working with those tools feels...do I enjoy them? Do I find myself wanting to learn more and go deeper?

If yes, I’ll maybe back up and take a course or do some reading that helps me solidify the fundamentals of those tools, and look for another learning project (or a way to expand the original).

And if I’m not feeling great about the tools, then I know I probably shouldn’t spend a lot more time on them for now. That’s not to say they won’t be worth learning later on, but it tells me I’ll need a new context to help push me forward on them. In the meantime, I can repeat the above experiment with a new set of tools (but probably a different small scope project) and go from there.
