Switch - Helping Product and Tech Leaders Develop Coaching Skils

Howdy,

I've recently launched my first online course: Switch 🥳

https://www.tobysinclair.com/habits-program

It's a free email-based course to help Product and Tech leaders build a coaching habit.

This is done through 5-Minute activities across 5 Days.

The course covers:

Day 1 - What is your desired identity?
Day 2 - Find Your Golden Behaviours
Day 3 - Designing Your New Habits
Day 4 - Stacking and Tracking Your Habits
Day 5 - The Importance of Celebration

I'd love some feedback in the following areas. 🙏

Initial Reactions based on this post:

  • What comes to mind from this description?
  • What questions do you have?
  • What value would you hope to get?

If you sign up:

  • What activities did you particularly enjoy?
  • What was missing for you?
  • How would you make it better?

Thanks In Advance,

    Hi Toby

Just reading the headline I thought this was a good idea. I think it is a worthwhile niche as I have seen so many experts to present their knowledge in a confusing way. Some interpersonal skills, i. e. to know that it is important, and to have the ability to figure out the perspective and background of the person to be coached is of tremendous value!

It is a great idea, I think.

Question: How would you blow their minds into the desired direction within only 5 x 5 minutes?

I wish you all the best and good luck!

    Christian

But having read it once more, now, I have no clue about the problem you see...

Do they really know, they need to build new habits?

Maybe, you start with a question? "You feel your leadership skills might be missing something?" Then, scenarios of what can be improved, complicated situations that are worthwhile to overcome.

    Hope that helps.

Great point. I need to work on a clearer value proposition. Why should leaders build coaching skills? What will they be able to do that they can't currently do!

Thanks for the feedback. It's given me a good direction.

Hi in terms of scanibility, i think you need more spacing between the text and bolder/bigger text for headings you really want read. The text also feels kinda thin and a little hard to read.

Thanks - I'll have a play around with the design.
