Talking to future clients

Good day!

I have done four things recently that could help me start my journey to building a SaaS project, the right way (I think):

  1. I've contacted a very active member in a Facebook group who has built two (2) 6-figure businesses solely under the concept of strategizing the right moves to sell products. I have asked her about a particular use case with tedious process that she is greatly familiar with. Then I proposed a solution and a sample output that she may like or dislike and asked her thoughts about it. Still waiting for her reply now.

  2. I have also contacted one of the organizers in the Hackathon that I have recently joined in (but didn't win). Using their tools, we were discussing about doing a collaboration on a project together with the help of his team to provide a use case that is marketable enough for a given niche, yet to be determined.

  3. I have also contacted an entrepreneur friend who knows an admin user in a startup-related FB group. He told me about an app in the US that we can create a version of, and make it available in our country. I also told him that I have a business idea that I would be asking him to validate, once I have created a pitch deck for an app with the start-related FB group as the target market.

  4. Lastly, I have talked to my colleague who told me a business idea about making an Uber service for medicine to those who are physically ill and unable to go to drugstore.

Am I doing it right so far? I'm noticing that these conversations on idea validation are more comforting than just creating a product stemming from an idea, initially.

Thoughts? Any advice is helpful. Thanks for reading.
