TGIF Stand Up: What will you accomplish today?
by
Janice
What did you accomplish yesterday? What will you accomplish today?
Yesterday: Finalised site refresh for launch
Today: Just launched π

Congrats
Yesterday: Created broadcast email for new subscribers.
Today: Rework funnel for new batch of interest.
Yesterday: Apple approved my changes and I released a new version of the Logo Game
Today: Fix a small bug I introduced in my last release π . And start adding in-app purchases!
Yesterday: Deployed customer requested edit and delete of submitted reviews. Completed my last YC Startup School session and graduated from the program.
Today: Researched B2B warranty idea and other problem warranty areas to add to the trustfuss.com database. Going to clean my garage as my Friday reward :)
congrats on completing startup school!
Yesterday: Patent search for a project
Today: Random Hiit global workout counter
I hate patent searches. They can be so disheartening when you see the troll kingdom in all its glory. Sometimes I intentionally avoid searching to remain blissfully ignorant :)
I'll move the 'notice me when you go live' input text from almost the bottom to the hero section to follow the above-the-fold principle. I guess that with that, I'll get more conversions.
On the other hand, I want to investigate about a bug I have with NextJS and Styled-jsx. When I load a page which is not the homepage via SSR, the styles don't work.
Yesterday I spent the majority of my day at a customer's site. Besides that I managed to add 30 files to the database.
Today I will go swim and while I am very much starting to sound like a broken record... add more files to the database.
Did you learn anything interesting from the customer?
Ah.. I see now that I wasn't clear. The customer is an existing customer of my company. So basically plain old consulting, not related to my projects.
The kind of work that helps keeping the light on and buys me the time for building and working on new things.
Yesterday: Finished an automation POC for one of our processes
Today: Looking forward to demoing it to the team
Yesterday:
-Marketing planning
-all-hands meeting
-Learned how to fix a big mistake I made in product π
Today:
-Scheduling content for folyoz.com
-Behind the scenes magic at seesnap.com
And hopefully chill out some since it's friday, but we'll see π¬
I decided to show current progress to potential investors, so yesterday I made a brief video of one of the core concepts in Announcr and sent it out:
Short video ~2:15
Also took a couple screenies which show the gold. The basic concept is that a local business owner can create a push campaign which will go out to any of their customers who use the Announcr app, and mix in some local non-customers as well. Great for flash sales or daily specials/unplanned promotions.
Today I am working on a short "more info" deck in response to investor interest.
