The beginning

Hey IH! I built an AI tools comparison platform that accidentally became a white-label SaaS

I kept helping friends and clients pick AI tools for their businesses. Every time, same story: Google "best AI for X", get 10 affiliate blogs that rank whoever pays more. No real comparison. No user reviews. No transparency.

So I built what I wished existed: an independent platform to compare AI tools side by side — features, pricing, UX, user reviews. Free for everyone, monetized through affiliate links and ads (fully disclosed).

Then something I didn't plan happened.

Local organizations — chambers of commerce, media groups, tech networks — started asking: "Can we get our own version of this?"

So I turned the whole thing into a multi-tenant white-label SaaS. Same codebase, one deployment, each client gets their own branded domain, custom theming, and their own affiliate links.

Where I'm at now:
- Live across 10 international domains (10 languages)
- 11 white-label clients in France
- Revenue: affiliate commissions + ads + white-label licensing
- Small bootstrapped team based in France
- Stack: Next.js, Supabase, Vercel

The white-label angle was a happy accident but it's becoming the most interesting part of the business.
