When I started building, I thought the biggest risks were technical.
Building the wrong feature.
Making the UI confusing.
Missing edge cases.
So I spent most of my time fixing and improving the product.
The mistake?
Assuming people would somehow find it once it was good enough.
The reality is that a product can be useful, polished, and solve a real problem...
And still get ignored.
Lately I've realised that building and distribution aren't two separate phases.
The way people discover your product should influence what you build from the beginning.
I'm curious:
What was the biggest mistake you made early on that had nothing to do with the product itself?
