I run a UX/UI design agency called instantly
We just launched a month ago, we're super early. That being said we struggled at first to find the right tools to use for our agency, and I wanted to share them since there are a lot of other folks that want to launch their own agency or startup and this might save them time
Starting of with our meetings scheduling tool of choice: Cal.com
It's open source, easy to use and they have their own in-house web-based video conferencing platform (no need for Google Meet or Zoom)
Slack
Slack is where I communicate with my clients and share feedback on designs
Trello
Slack is good for overall communication and not project management particularly. Trello is both powerful and all clients understand how it works
Figma
Of course 😅 for UI design. Instantly can't exist without Figma
X
I don't run google ads or send cold emails. The way I get clients is through X
Great list! How about notion? I use it to track ideas & tasks.
I also use Notion but for personal stuff
I'm curious about the fifth point. Do you advertise on X or do you use free marketing methods like tagging people or adding hashtags to your posts?
Non. Just posting daily content and building an audience
